I am a British artist of Indo-Caribbean descent making art about the experience of my family's journey from India through indentured labour to Guyana, coming to the UK in the 1950’s. I explore themes of identity, culture, heritage and the Indian, indenture and double diaspora experience through drawing and in my teaching. I work from my studio in Croydon and teach in person and online.
