Memories of Guyana

Oil pastels depicting my memories of Guyana which I visited as a child. I remember the heat of the country, the warmth of the people and the joy of meeting family for the first time. Tasting strange foods I’d never heard of, swimming in warm waters the colour of coca-cola and getting eaten alive by mosquitoes! I long to go back home again sometime soon.
